SPACE Team Design Contest - Client WorkThe University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus was doing a team competition and various departments could submit designs for the chosen t-shirt. Supporting my friends within the lab, I designed a visual for the SPACE team - Special Pathogen Aggressive Containment and Elimination - that included a powerful figure within a hazmat suit, surrounded by MERS and Ebola viruses, the top two viruses they study and contain.
Doing research about MERS (Middle Eastern Respiratory Virus) and Ebola viruses taught me a great deal of how they are contracted and that hazmat suits are actually worn to protect the patient from the lab technicians. Yes, the lab techs do not want to contract anything but ultimately they come in contact with more viruses than the average human. It's important to protect their exposure from the individuals who may be very sick and vulnerable. Design was made using Illustrator and Sketch. |
Lone Tree Brewery Client WorkLone Tree Brewery needed the rest of the body created to an already designed Hop Zombie head for the Imperial Red IPA. The original art was made by Anthem Branding. Lone Tree wanted a figure to support this graphic and include on additional marketing materials.
The figure needed to wear the traditional Weyermann red overall with Neoprene Legacy Series boots. The first version included the figure walking towards you and the second design had the zombie doing the "Hulk Pose" as the brewers explained to me. I drew both figures with pen and paper, and then created in Adobe Illustrator. The image has eight colors and has been used on various posters and clothing. |
